Some reviews for Flying are…
“What you will hear is one of the strongest female voices in our business today, joined by a crack band, with some of the tightest harmony singing around in the persons of Darin Aldridge and Becky Buller.” Bluegrass Today http:/
“Flying” has wings that are going to take Darin and Brooke Aldridge to virgin territories only dreamt of by their peers. Just like what Alison Krauss did a couple of decades ago when she took what was considered museum-styled bluegrass, dust off the fossils before covering them with new sinews making them palpable to a new generation. This is precisely what Darin and Brooke Aldridge are trying to do with their new album “Flying.” http:/
“Darin and Brooke bring tradition to today and today to tradition,” says Jim Lauderdale. “You just have to hear it to know what I mean. Listening to the lush harmonies of two people that incorporate their love and faith into their music is something very special and rare. Darin and Brooke have an unmistakable heart connection that is one of a kind.” http:/
