Darin & Brooke Aldridge have signed with Class Act Entertainment for exclusive booking representation. They join such distinguished bluegrass acts as The Boxcars, J.D. Crowe & The New South, Red Wine and The Hillbenders with the agency.
Mike Drudge, principal at Class Act, has high praise for their latest act.
“We are thrilled to invite Darin & Brooke Aldridge to the Class Act Entertainment roster. We have watched them mature as a touring act over the past several years, and while we have been fans for some time, we didn’t have room on our roster to add them until now.
Besides being fantastically talented, they have created a style that is unique and instantly identifiable. They are also equally comfortable playing a Gospel or country show as they are a bluegrass event.
We have enjoyed working closely with the good folks at Crossroads / Mountain Home with The Boxcars, and we look forward to continued involvement with them in bringing Darin & Brooke to the roster.”
Mike, founder of Class Act Entertainment, worked for four years performing with the Grand Ole Opry’s Jim & Jesse Show. In addition to performing in the band, (click here for photo) Mike represented the legendary duo as booking agent. A graduate of Purdue University, Mike grew up on a northern Indiana farm and had plans to become a veterinarian when Jim & Jesse offered him a job performing in their band. He accepted, and later became their booking agent. He served on the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Board of Directors for ten years, chairing the board for the last three of those years. The Commonwealth of Kentucky recognized Mike in 2004 by awarding him the title of Kentucky Colonel for his service with the IBMA.
