Happy Valentines Day to you all! It is a very speacial day for the Sweethearts of Bluegrass. Brooke and I were engaged around this time in Nashville back in 2008.Valentines Day is a wonderful time to spread your feelings of love towards one another.So tell someone you love them or open your heart to someone this Valentine’s Day.

We have had a wonderful start into 2011,we hope ya’ll got a chance to download our show in Canton NC!  Please feel free to leave us some feedback because we might be taping a live show like that again sometime soon. Last week we got to be apart of the SPBGMA Bluegrass convention in Nashville TN.It was a wonderful time to be able to perform with alot of our great musician friends and see many of our fans we have not seen in a while. As always, it was good to meet  new fans who have never gotten to hear us perform live, share stories and fellowship with them too!

The awards show on Sunday was a highlight for us .  We were asked to perform along with Dailey & Vincent ,Rhonda Vincent,The Grascals and Grasstowne. What a neat experience to share the stage with such awesome folks and see our career in a whole new perspective:)  2011 is really going to be an amazing year for us!

This past week Brooke and I were invited to the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce Dinner at the the Cherryville Country Club.They presented me with the 2010 Citizen of the Year award.  It was a great honor to be recognized in our community as an outstanding citizen and thanked numerous times for putting Cherryville on the map throughout our career travels.  Although, so many people in Cherryville have made me who I am today and I thank each of you personally for always supporting and encouraging me to follow my dreams.  Plus, along side every man is a great woman and without Brooke I don’t know how’d I’d be who I am today.  She is the woman I prayed for so long and God finally blessed me with, someone I know I wouldn’t know what to do without by my side daily.  I love you Brooke!
