Charlotte Today Show and upcoming Concerts
Hi everyone! Seems as if just yesterday I was writing a blog about all the events we had been to and what we were doing in the month of June, and before I knew it July was already here. Now, the same has happened and August came even faster. Summer is almost over and although I’m not sure what that might bring to some of your doorsteps… I know that means an even busier schedule for Darin, Brooke and the band. Time flies when you have lots to do and I am sure all of you will agree with me on that. Thanks for all of the nice comments and congrats on the award nominations we received from IBMA….now all we can do is wait and see how the outcome of the 3rd round of voting turned out for the final five in each category (scheduled to be announced August 18th).
We have some exciting venues we are going to be featured at in the month of August and wanted to share those with all you folks. The first one consists of spending the evening with Darin, Brooke and the band at the Sylvia Theater in York, South Carolina on August 7th at 9:00pm. It’s not a huge venue like some of the festivals we are playing these days and so the setting will be more intimate and relaxed…plus it’s inside and air conditioned (not something we always get the benefit ofJ). In any case though with a small venue of about 200 seats comes limited space so get your tickets now if you would like to come and enjoy a night of positive and uplifting music.http://sylviatheater.com/
For those of you who may not live close to South Carolina or be able to come out to the show at the Sylvia Theater our next stop is going to be as featured guests on WCNC The Charlotte Today show on Thursday, August 12th from 11:00am-Noon. We are so excited to go live on public television and showcase our music and ministry to all of you plus tons of people who have never heard our music and what it’s all about to us as artists. http://www.wcnc.com/charlotte-today
The third venue we will be playing in the next couple of weeks is once again the great Don Gibson Theater. Some of you got to come out to our CD release party we hosted back in January at this same beautiful building. This time we are special guests of WNCW 88.7fm radio and Goin Across the Mountain “LIVE”! The show will take place on Friday August 13th at 7:00pm. Along with us will be the wonderful and talented Snyder Family Band who will the kick the show off. This concert is to support and raise money for WNCW and keep it’s great station soaring high and supporting all of the wonderful music that they allow each of us to listen to daily. www.wncw.org

So out of just these 3 things coming up here at the first of August we hope that you will be able to catch up with us at one of these great venues along the way! Even if ya can’t make it out to any of these shows there’s lots more in store for the month of August, so be sure and check out the schedule. We will always be playing a church somewhere amongst these venues because that’s where the love and passion came for us to play our music in the first place (all because of God), so that’s another good reason to keep an eye on the schedule to see if it’s close to your hometown. Like I said Summer may be winding down, but our schedule is picking up for the fall and winter months and we hope to see ya out and about…..plus the good Lord and music is good for your soul no matter what kind of day you have had. We love you all….have a blessed day!
