Darin and Brooke Aldridge Festival
Are you the type of person who likes to plan ahead and getaway for the weekend every now and then and look forward to the spring weather? If so, and you are looking for some great music and a great weekend . Then you should make plans in April to come to The Darin and Brooke Aldridge Music Festival on Coot Williams Road. Where is this Coot Williams Road you ask? Well, it is located just below the mountains of North Carolina and not too far from Charlotte. Nestled in the far corner of Lincoln County, Coot Williams Road is a place where not only you can sit in a field full of Corn, but you can also hear Darin and I sing about a field full of Corn from our latest self titled recording. This year promoters and great friends of ours John and Linda Hunsucker have asked Brooke and I to be the festival hosts. Excited and honored to have a festival named after Brooke and myself we along with John and Linda have a great line-up for this years festival that you won’t want to miss!!!

The line-up is as follows: Darin and Brooke Aldridge, JD Crowe and the New South, Balsam Range, The Harris Brothers, Unspoken Tradition, New Plowed Ground, Closer Walk,The Catawba Valley Music Youth Band…..and many of my students will be playing on Friday. The dates of the festival are April 9th and 10th 2010.
You will also find free parking, free camping, and plenty of shelter under the huge tent where the stage is set up. The Coot Williams Road Bluegrass Festival has been taking place for 2 consecutive years in a row now and is gaining more and more attention for it’s great music and great location! Darin and I have had the privilege to perform as well as help put the festival together ever since John and Linda began devising a plan for a festival around the Lincolnton/Cherryville area. The location and setting are very inviting and the staff, vendors, and everyone that is apart of this festival make you feel just like family while you are there.

Don’t forget about our Golf outing Friday morning to kick off the weekend with a lot of fun with the musicians playing golf.We will look for you at the Festival and Brooke and I may have a little something new for everybody! SO Stay Tuned
5799 Coot Williams Road Cherryville NC 28021,It is located North of Cherryville off Hwy 182

I have heard a lot of Darin and Brooke’s music, and even the non-gospel numbers have a spiritual type message for me.

What stores can you purchase your cd?
Hey we had a very good time. Everything from the food to the music and lots of nice people. Ted and Irene are wonderful. Can’t wait till Sept. Thanks, Kathi and Gary P.S. Harris Brothers rocked.
Thank you for a wonderful two days of golf and music! It was great fun playing in your golf outing and all of the music was terrific. Your festival was the most fan-friendly event I have attended. John and Linda and all of the volunteers went the extra mile to make sure the crowd had a good time. The bands were terrific and the on-stage jams were extra special. The “two Darins” picking and grinnin’ with the Harris Brothers is something that needs to be done again and again. Balsam Range, including “the other Darin”, really gave the crowd their moneys worth. The big tent was totally filled and the crowd loved every song by the chart-topping band. Those who heard J.D. Crowe for the first time understand why he is a legend. Our Bluegrass Sweethearts gave three outstanding performances and spent their time off stage getting to know their fans better. I’m already looking forward to next year’s festival and golf.
