Merry Christmas
Brooke and I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.Remember Jesus is the reason for this Holiday Season folks.We love you all and want to thank you for your comments that you have made in our last few post.
Brooke and I had Christmas come early for us…our NEW CD”S have gotten in and we have them now.The release date is set for Jan 18th but we are so happy we got them in before Christmas..
WHO would like one?
Our CD release party and concert will be Jan 22nd at the brand new Don Gibson Theatre in Shelby N.C. showtime 8:00pm. Proceeds from this show will go to the Cherryville Area Ministries

I don’t know if you two are taking request but it you are would you sing and post O Holy Night. I love that song and didn’t get to hear it at First Baptist in Crossnore the other night. Happy Anniversary if I don’t see you all before the 27th.

Darin and Brooke: I really was pleasantly surprised to see you at my son Ralph’s Law Firm Christmas party on Dec. 11th and it was great to meet Brooke. I’ve enjoyed your Christmas song and plan to some to see you and your band on Jan. 22nd in Shelby at the Don Gibson Theater.
Will you have tickets for the Jan. 22nd event for sale directly or will I need to get them from the theater? In the meantime, I wish you both a very Merry Christmas and best wishes for a succesful and very Happy New Year. I contacted Louis Good about your Shelby event in January. He says that Helen is not well and goes to bed every night around 8:00 PM, and that he is not driving at night except when absolutely essential. He says he will not be able to make it. Art Bolz (my bass player, who is a doctor and friend of Bobby Jones) will probably come with me, and I am sure some of my Shelby family will be there.

ps: I’ve refreshed my memory of “The Legend of The Rebel Soldier”, and appreciate your putting up wih me at the Dec. 11th Party. I had a “senior moment” while we were playing it, and have been doing it since the 60’s and have it back.
