   We really enjoyed your show at Elijah State Park as well as talking to you all.

   I bought the Charlie Waller CD and Nancy bought your latest. We played them a lot on our way back to Huntington. We are huge Waller and Country Gentleman fans and must have first seen Darren at Summersville when we first heard Charlie sing. I got goose bumps. Never heard anyone sing like that. We are friends with Eddie and Martha. Eddie said Charlie’s voice kept getting better as he aged and after listening to the CG CDs in the 70′s I would agree. Eddie produced Charlie’s last CD, I understand, and it’s one of my favorites, especially star spangled banner waving somewhere. I think Lefty Frissell recorded it during WWII or shortly thereafter.

   Hope to see you all at the Mountaineer Opry or elsewhere. If you have a show at Kings Mt. next year we’ll be there. We have relatives at Gastonia.
